I hope all the mothers on my flist had a great day yesterday ^^
Hmm, busy weekend again. After been tortured on Saturday I decided to recover by going to the bookstore - it's been so long, about 3 or 4 weeks since I've been to any. And its sad that I'm counting.
Picked up The Boleyn Inheritance I told myself I was going to get anymore in her Tudor series until I read The Constant Princess, but meh, I needed something.
Also saw Sherrilyn Kenon's Devil May Cry, IN PAPERBACK ;_; Cheap paperback. This is where I started screaming "God damn it!"
Oh well, also saw LKH's The Harlequin in paperback, which is the only way I'm gonna buy it and only when I have the money to blow.
Going to see Iron Man this Saturday. Yayzers. The last movie I saw in the theater was Transformers. Also saw that on tv over the weekend and Disney's Meet The Robinsons. Ignore the fact that I have it on DVD, I'm only seeing it on tv. It's so sweet! Love it! I see what your love for it is Renee.
Was talking to my BFF Abi about movies, and she's all shocked that I don't like Toy Story. Remember that movie? I don't get people's abiding love for it. I thought it was sorta...I won't say it.
BSG. What the frak??? What is it with TPTB and women?? They're turning into SGA's TPTB -__-
Friday's episode was AWESOME!!!
But what's up with the new season of Doctor Who? After last season's sheer awesomeness, this season is weeeaaakk. I just can't like it. The plots are weak and so far all they've tried for is emotional tear jerking. I like Donna as a companion, but after lovely Rose and kickass Martha...
I do love however how Donna seems more to be of an equal to the Doctor. She's not just running behind him all infatuated and starry-eyed. She challenges him and she seems to have this way of stating the most profound things that leave the Doctor speechless or bumbling so casually and out of the blue ^^
But still, by this time last season we even had Shakespeare ("Hey nonny, nonny!")
I'm so tired and far gone. I almost threw a tantrum over lip gloss (which is the one feminine thing I always have with me oddly enough. I really like lip gloss. No shades though really. Just plain lip gloss. Or chocolate or vanilla flavs!)
Night ^^
